The Hudson Cycle

I am currently, along with Blob Wars, working on a new series called the Hudson Cycle.  I have been able to compile, as of now, the prospective covers and outlines for the first book as it stand.  For the complete outlines, however,  you will have to wait until October.
Here is the first in there finest:
Story Outline
This is the first volume of the Hudson Cycle. It presents the strange, tortured world the Hudson family, numerous visiting aliens (some intent on conquering the world), and countless humans.
Across the world, 2002 and 2012; The story begins with Mr. Hudson walking around in the gardens of the Hudson Estate, enjoying the winter snow. He looks at his watch, and notices it is 6:13. Cursing that he must visit the Craigsons at 6:30, he goes to a small shed and gets out a shovel . He follows the path back up to the stately manor, but hears a ululating sound. He turns around, and an army of painted savages attack him.
In the present era, a mime who calls himself Joseph forces the President of New Carbina to step down as President for two days. The tiny island is flooded by mime minions , who tell everyone to stay in their houses for 48 hours until they hear the bell ring 13 times. Joseph walks down the stairs, and is assaulted by surviving security. He calmly places an invisible bow around himself, and the bullets turn to ash. He then grabs a flower and sprays a narcotic liquid that causes the security to go into a deep sleep. He comes out of the door, and is met by a mime sub commander, who says that “it” is ready. Happy, Joseph skips to the town square.
The next day, Mr. Hudson’s daughter Olivia is met by a lawyer named Chris von Dersiviliamheimer at a café in the poorer part of a small city called Zingingham, Virginia . The lawyer informs her that her father died and has left her some of the Hudson estate, which consists of half of a Elvis (possibly?) record, several Magritte paintings, and a pencil sharpener. She has also been instructed to meet her uncle, Daniel, in Washington D.C. Apparently, the lawyer will accompany her Perplexed, she prepares to leave. While putting the things in her pack, she notices a tiny painting of several men in bowler hats looking impassively at a green flash in the horizon. She stuffs it in her backpack and heads out the door.
In Arizona, an alien spaceship crashes into the mountain. The mountain explodes in a ball of flame along with the neighboring town. The UFO, however, is intact. Out walks to humans wearing large 1800’s English police outfits. When a police car drives up to the carnage and two police come out, one of them says “See? Told you, you couldn’t trust Macy’s way out in Molitarian space.” The police ask what the meaning of this is, at which point the two aliens dart for the east. The police, distracted by an attack of savages on a senior citizen, head the opposite direction.
Meanwhile, in orbit of Pluto, a black ship made off many planes linked together, a cloaked figure walks to what seems like a statue of a bird with a human face. He rouses the statue, who congratulates him in controlling the dark powers to kill Mr. Hudson. It then instructs him to destroy Jane Hudson “by any means necessary”.
The lawyer meets Olivia on the airplane, where he tells her the Legend-a story about Wilbert Hudson (1789-1935). He was known for his impossible old age. Some say he made a pact with God to serve him with all his power, and in return was given a lifespan of 146 years. When asked if the legend is really true, Chris shrugs and says “possibly.” He then asks to look at the painting, which Olivia, reluctantly, gives to him. He looks at it, raises his eyebrows, and hands it back. The trip goes without incident.
In a tranquil town in Ohio, Jane Hudson is driving to work at Bob and Bob’s Stuff when a red, giant explosion sends her to 2012, about ten years later. She actually sees time pass, seeing a green, bright orb she is sure is the sun rotate around 10 times. She lands right in the passenger seat of her double who conversationally asks how she is doing. The two chat, and Jane finds out her double lives off the estate of the Hudson's.
In New Carbina, the bell begins to strike. A spherical, black and white machine is being polished by many mimes, while the mime President looks satisfied.
The bell tolls a second time. The two aliens run past the Mississippi River. The one named Walkman asks the other, Zahn, if they can stop running, since they surely must have lost them. Zahn cautions that they shouldn’t be sure until they reach Washington D.C.
The third time, the ship around Pluto begins to turn on its engines and face towards the Sun.
On the fourth stroke, the plane lands in Washington. Watching in the rafters is the cloaked figure....
